Adding Google Reviews

Reminderly Easily Automates the Collection of Google Reviews

Google reviews are an excellent way to drive business and engage potential customers. A Google search for a business will pull up the business's page and the reviews. More people use Google to look up business reviews than any other search engine, so Google reviews are the most visible business reviews on the internet. Between 90-98% of consumers use Google reviews. Having a strong Google review presence will boost your business profile and your business overall.

Customers can submit Google Reviews online in two main ways:

  1. Visiting the business's Google Business page and leaving a review there.
  2. Clicking directly on a Google review link in a text or email message.

Using a Google review link is the fastest and most accessible way for customers to leave Google reviews.

How Many Google Reviews You Need

The number of reviews you need to start seeing an impact on your business vary depending on the industry.  However, with as few as 5 reviews you will start to see new potential customers contacting you. Typically with 20-30 positive reviews you will likely stand out from your peers, and 100 plus reviews is considered extremely high for most industries. Google review links simplify the process of getting reviews and increase the number of respondents.

Challenges Getting Customers to Leave Google Reviews

Your customers don’t personally gain anything from writing a review. It takes them time and effort in their busy schedule.

Some reasons customers are unwilling to write reviews:

  • No time: many customers feel like they don't have the time to, or don't want to spend their time, leaving reviews. They may think that leaving a review takes longer than it actually does.
  • May Seem Hard: Leaving Google reviews may seem like a challenge, especially for those customers that are not technologically savvy.
  • Unaware of Importance: Many customers may not understand how important and influential Google Reviews can be, so they may not go out of their way to leave a review.

However, many people understand that it is important to you and your business, so if they had a good experience with you and you ask, they will be willing to do you a favor and write a review for you (especially if you make it easy for them).

Why To Use Google Review Links

One of the biggest ways to combat the resistance against leaving Google reviews can easily and quickly be solved by providing customers with a direct link to the Google review page. This saves them the time they would otherwise spend looking up your company and double checking that it is the right business. It also saves customers effort: they can click on the link as opposed to typing and clicking through multiple different pages to get to the review.

Net Promoter Score Survey Explained

What is Net Promoter Score?

Net Promoter Score is a standardized two question survey: (1) “On a scale of 0 to 10 how likely are you to recommend us?” and (2) “Why?” Even if you haven’t heard the term “Net Promoter Score” or “NPS” for short, you have probably taken these surveys before as many companies large and small use this as a primary tool for collecting feedback.

How is Reminderly’s Survey tool different?

We ask the standard two questions, but we also send a follow up to your happy clients asking them to fill out an online review.  You can of course use your Google Review Link or you can use any other social media platform that you prefer, including but not limited to Facebook and Yelp.

Set it and forget it

Once you set up your Google Review Links in Reminderly (regardless of which method you use), we will automatically send the link to your clients.  Although the response rates are expected to be in the low single digits, they quickly add up over time.  It’s important to start asking for reviews now so that you can start building your online review presence.
