Filling Cancelled Appointments with the Waitlist
Reminderly's waitlist helps you quickly fill cancelled appointments. When a slot opens up, Reminderly sends a mass text to everyone on the waitlist letting them know an appointment is available. The first person to respond gets the slot and you're notified immediately, while anyone who responds afterward is told the appointment has been filled.
Step 1: Click the Waitlist tab in the left-hand sidebar to open the waitlist homepage.

Step 2: Click Create, enter a name for the new waitlist, and click Create again. You can set up a separate waitlist for each appointment type or for each employee — whatever works best for your business.

Step 3: Select the waitlist and click the edit icon to open it. In the top right corner, click Add, then enter the client's name, phone number, and current appointment date and click Add to save. Clients are automatically removed from the waitlist after their appointment date passes.

Step 4: Return to the waitlist homepage and click Send in the top right corner. Select the waitlist group to notify, pick the date and time of the newly available appointment, and click Send Notification to broadcast the message.

Step 5: Wait for an email letting you know who responded to the waitlist message. The email includes the appointment date and time and the name of the client who requested it.
