Registration with the Mobile Carriers

In an effort to combat spam and protect consumers, major mobile carriers (Verizon, AT&T, T-Mobile, Sprint) have implemented a new policy requiring all businesses to register before sending text messages. This change affects all businesses using text messaging services, including those using Reminderly. To ensure uninterrupted service, it's crucial that you complete the registration process as soon as possible.

Who must register

All businesses that want to send text reminders. No matter how big or small your company is, your messages are not able to be delivered until you have applied and been approved by the major mobile carries (Verizon, AT&T, T-Mobile, Sprint).

This is not a Reminderly specific policy, rather all companies across the industry are required to complete the application process.

The Registration Process

  1. Visit www.reminderly.com/carrierregistration and log in to your account
  2. Fill out the registration form with the following information:
    • Legal business name (must match IRS records exactly)
    • IRS Tax Number (EIN)
    • Physical business address
    • Name, email, and phone number for two senior business contacts

Note: If you're unsure about your exact legal business name, you can request an IRS EIN Letter by contacting the IRS directly at 1-800-829-4933 (Monday - Friday 7:00 a.m. - 7:00 p.m. local time).
